Annual Shredder Event

My annual shredder event is a wonderful opportunity for local residents to guard themselves against identity theft.  Documents that contain sensitive information, such as Social Security numbers, medical information or bank account numbers, should be thoroughly shredded before disposal.  I encourage all residents of the 150^th Legislative District to bring any unwanted papers to be shredded and recycled.

Youth Fishing Derby

In May, I will be hosting a Fishing Derby for local youths.  The Fishing Derby will provide children, who might not get the opportunity to fish otherwise, to learn the rules of fishing, while at the same time having the chance to appreciate nature. The event will be held at Evansburg State Park and will be held in conjunction with the Fish and Game Commission’s regular trout stocking of the creek.
