Vereb to Host Senior Expo
Senior citizens interested in gathering more information on government programs are invited to attend Rep. Mike Vereb’s (R-Montgomery) first annual senior expo on Thursday, Sept. 27.
“This is a great opportunity for local residents to get more information on issues and programs that affect seniors,” Vereb said. “Among the issues that will be featured are the Property Tax/Rent Rebate program, identity theft, assisted living residences, and PACE/PACENET. I encourage all who are able to attend.”
The event will take place at the IBEW Local 380 building, 3900 Ridge Pike in Collegeville. It will last from 9 a.m. to noon.
Information on government services, health care, insurance and financial planning will be distributed by the more than 30 vendors scheduled to participate.
U.S. Attorney Patrick Meehan is the guest speaker. He will discuss issues affecting senior citizens at 10 a.m.
This event is free for all who attend. Complementary light food and refreshments will be served.
