Vereb to Host Senior Expo on Thursday in Collegeville
COLLEGEVILLE – Rep. Mike Vereb (R-Montgomery) has collaborated with dozens of local and state organizations to offer local senior citizens and their caregivers the latest information about services geared toward them at his annual free Senior Expo slated for Thursday, from 10 a.m. to noon, at the IBEW Local 380 building, 3900 Ridge Pike in Collegeville.
“This is a great opportunity for individuals to gather valuable information about aging in Pennsylvania and I look forward to seeing residents of our district,” said Vereb. “This event offers a wide array of information for seniors to enhance their overall quality of life, and this format allows them to interact directly with service and program officials.”
Seniors will be able to obtain information on programs available to them on the federal, state and local levels of government. A variety of free interactive health displays and tests will also be available to attendees.
Vendors at this year’s expo include Montgomery County Aging and Adult Services, Montco SAAC, Independence Blue Cross, Comfort Keepers and AARP of Pennsylvania. Complementary light refreshments will be served.
For more information, contact Vereb’s district office at 610-409-2615.
